OPEN CALL 2022

An event of historical and cultural importance for the town of Andenne! The Cultural Centre of Andenne is pleased to announce that the Ceramic Market will now take place every year on Whitsun weekend. It is moving to the Place des Tilleuls (opposite the Town Hall) and the Promenade des Ours to offer a better visibility and to make the logical link to the Phare which houses the new Ceramics Museum.

The next edition will take place on Sunday 5 and Monday 6 June 2022 at the same time as the Ceramic Art Andenne exhibitions.

2021 ÉDITION 

Relive the Marché de la Céramique 2021 through the photos of Caroline Derselle –  Le Mariage d’un Haïku

A historically important event for Andenne, the Ceramics Market is organised every year on Whit Sunday and Monday. This year again, no less than 50 ceramists from Belgium and abroad, who exhibit and sell their most beautiful works.
Come and escape into the diversity that clay offers and support the artists who have been waiting for this moment for months!

PROGRAMME

AT THE CULTURAL CENTRE

| CULTURE/EDUCATION” PROJECT
As part of a “Culture/education” project, the Cultural Centre is hosting an exhibition by the pupils of the 3rd, 4th and 5th primary years of the Andenne 1 municipal school in Seilles. Supervised by the ceramist Ana-Belèn Montero, the children express their visions of the world through clay creations.

Exhibition visible from 23 June to 31 July 2021 on Wednesdays from 1.30 to 4.30 pm and by appointment.

ON THE PLACE DES TILLEULS

| CONCERT: by the students of the Conservatoire de Musique de Huy
– Tutti Fluti junior ensemble (flute ensemble of Mrs M.Delory) – Saturday at 10.30 am
– Guitar ensemble (Mr M.Collaro) – Saturday at 10.45 am
– Ensemble Tutti Fluti (ensemble of Mrs C.De Brauwer) – Saturday at 11.15 am
– Ensemble Philarcangelo (violin ensemble of Mr P Heneaux) – Saturday at 1.30 pm

| CONCERT: THE BORDERLESS PROJECT

Handpan and Sitar concert. Take a sound journey, combining world music, acoustic trance and enchanting melodies. Info: www.borderlessproject.org

ArtBol is a cooperative and eco-responsible enterprise dedicated to Art Ceramists and their supporters. Info: www.artbol.be

The Musée de la Céramique will be organising a presentation of the functions of the museum and a workshop/demonstration of reassembly and restoration of ceramics. It also joins forces with the cultural centre to welcome the youngest visitors for workshops on ceramics.

AT THE DIEUDONNÉ PARK

| MUSICAL SIESTA
The Borderless project offers you a musical siesta to the sound of the Handpan and the Sitar. Take your blanket, your cushions, … for a moment of relaxation:
